My friend Greg Ingraham, who is the guitarist for the SF punk band The Avengers, roped me into playing in a new 60s R&B band he started called The Rhythm Furies. Here we are playing at the band's debut gig, in the backyard of the singer's house during her birthday party.

The next day I played with Banda Sin Nombre at Accion Latina in the Mission. I felt like a ringer, I was the only person onstage who didn't speak Spanish.
